BSA Ship 830 is a ship of Sea Scouts created in 2019, aiming to create fun experiences, while developing leaders and new skills.

Sea Scouts is a Co-ed Scouts BSA program created in 1912. In 1939, Sea Scout auxiliaries began supporting the U.S. Coast Guard. When Venturing was founded (1998) Sea Scouts were merged into Venturing. It wasn’t until 2016 that they became independent again. The program is for young men and young women ages 14-20.
